Has it been 4 years already? The Olympic Games begin today in London with the spectacle of opening ceremonies.
If you happen to be visiting Disney World this month be sure to explore Epcot’s stunning World Showcase. All 11 countries represented in World Showcase have sent their finest athletes ‘across the pond’ to compete. It’s hard to ignore the simple parallel between Epcot and the Olympic – that countries unite and represent themselves with a collective pride.
So, no matter who you root for (GO CANADA!) – You’re going to be hard pressed not to find some proud Cast Members on the front-lines of Epcot.
Remember this, the Olympics are about more than sport. They are about more than the privileged of watching the US mens basketball team win their 3, 812 Gold medal. They are, ultimately, about something we lack in this world – Peace.
