A little over  a month ago, Soundstage 44 at Universal Orlando was brought to the ground.  Since then, the redevelopment of the site is moving at a furious pace.  Universal has labeled this Project 609.

Although there have been rumors about the area being a Halloween Horror Nights house site, or the potential home of a year-round haunted house – it is likely the spot of Orlando’s own Transformers: The Ride.

Crews have been working feverishly, and are almost complete the foundation.

A construction expert tells us the foundation indicates a central lift system will be built.  Transformers uses two elevators during the ‘show’.

But, what do we know for sure?  Not much.  Universal Orlando has kept a tight seal on plans for both construction sites – Soundstage 44 and the former Amityville.

But, patience, friends.  All will be revealed.
