Ashley has been hard at work (and play) this week, scoping out Disney’s newest title – Where’s My Perry?
*
Disney Mobile has added another title to their gaming library, and Perry the Platypus has again proven he is the most popular Disney character around. And yes, it’s true, Where’s my Perry? is simply Where’s my Water? with Swampy being replaced by everyones favorite semi-aquatic mammal.
Admittedly, the premise works well here. The tubes that transport Perry to headquarters are having some issues. With the help of backup generators, Perry is able to clear dirt and strategically shoot water through the level to return the tubes to working order.
Perry’s arch-nemesis/best friend Dr. Doofenschmirtz has invented some Cool-inators that will freeze water, while other–inators will turn water to steam. Along with the physical aspects, there are floating gnomes that earn players a bonus when cleared with water or steam.
In addition, some levels have a secret file hidden within the dirt. This is indicated at the top of the screen as a “?”. These secret files can be read off the main screen and open up more levels when they are collected.
Physics games have been ever popular since wildly popular titles like Angry Birds, and Cut the Rope were introduced. And this looks to continue the trend.
I currently have the free version of the game, but I find it more enjoyable and easier than Where’s My Water?
