I was still getting a number of requests about Isaac’s impact on Disney World and Central Florida today – so here it a brief update.
As of Tuesday, August 28, Isaac has moved into the Gulf, and will be not be a concern at Walt Disney World. Guests can expect normal operation in theme parks, resorts, and transportation. There is a small threat of rain, and a brief thunderstorm in the afternoon – but as of this writing skies are clear.
Yesterday saw the worst of Isaac’s effect on Walt Disney World. Strong winds and rain caused very minor hiccups at the parks, and the cancellation of some morning shows. Things were largely operating as normal.
Isaac is expected to become a hurricane today – we wish the best to our friends in affected areas.
Enjoy your day, my friends!
