The Lost Disney Food Diary – Figaro Fries

It may have been a salad with fries on it.  Or french fries with a salad on it.  Either way, it was a destination snack served at Pinocchio Village Haus.

They, of course, were the Figaro Fries.

For those who don’t remeber, here’s the rundown – French Fries.  Bacon. Cheese. Tomato.  Lettuce. Ranch Dressing.

It was one of the uber-high-calorie secrets of Disney World.  The kind that all theme parks need.  One of the ‘exclusive to’ snacks that guests would talk about when they started their post-Disney World diets.

In the last years of their exsistance they came and went of the Village Haus menu, finally becoming extinct in 2008.

There are no less than a dozen on-line petitions to bring back the fries.  And for that, the Figaro Fries reach legend status.
