It may have been a salad with fries on it. Or french fries with a salad on it. Either way, it was a destination snack served at Pinocchio Village Haus.
They, of course, were the Figaro Fries.
For those who don’t remeber, here’s the rundown – French Fries. Bacon. Cheese. Tomato. Lettuce. Ranch Dressing.
It was one of the uber-high-calorie secrets of Disney World. The kind that all theme parks need. One of the ‘exclusive to’ snacks that guests would talk about when they started their post-Disney World diets.
In the last years of their exsistance they came and went of the Village Haus menu, finally becoming extinct in 2008.
There are no less than a dozen on-line petitions to bring back the fries. And for that, the Figaro Fries reach legend status.
